It was such a busy week. I had very few opportunities for exercise all week, so I was thrilled to get out on the trail with my husband this evening after work.
The light was fading, but I took as many pics as I could while we walked because the colors were so lovely.
We stepped off the trail into a neighborhood, looking for beautiful trees among the residential areas as well.
As a side benefit, we came across some cute Halloween decorations!
Thank you for visiting!

Glorious!
It's too bad I couldn't get out earlier in the day when the sun was lighting the trees on fire and the colors blaze so bright they hurt your eyes! Now it's Saturday and I have time, but it's cloudy!
Oh, frustrating! I liked the pictures anyway. I've bookmarked the post for my knitting inspirations collection. There's a few examples of things I like/have tried in this post (sorry, you have to scroll down a bit to get to the relevant section).
This is my current favourite. I'm always entranced by paths leading off (and the tiny figure in the distance adds to this one) and I love the colour palette and filtered light in this picture:
Ooh! How fun. I love to think of my photos providing an inspirational color palette! I will check out the post you linked to. Thanks @shanibeer.
pictures are amazing
Thanks!
I loved the little witch attached to the tree.
Me too! So silly. I adore Halloween decorations!
