As I have previously mentioned in my previous post, that I'm back, and I'm planning to restore our old farm.
The photo above shows what's left of our once lively cabin. It brings back old memories - memories of laughter and tears, of triumph and disappointment, of love and anguish.
The photos below show our now broken and abandoned water irrigation system.
My late father built and used this. I never thought of rebuilding it and using it for my own, for I have left to follow my dreams to the big and busy city.
The damage is dreadful, but not irrepairable. It will cost me, but it should solve the water issue in the farm. Having our own water irrigation system is vital to lessen the costs of producing rice. And so, this will be the next project.
Once working, it should quench the thirst of our rice farm.
My father worked on these fields. And in his arms, he carried our weight and provided the needs of our family.
And so I am.
