So i did do a little powerwashing on Saturday but that's not what this post is about. Enough about it.
This afternoon we took a nice break from getting crap done and headed downtown Cleveland for the Annual Asian Festival.
It's an annual event downtown on Payne Ave. They shut down the block surrounding the Asian market.
The have vendors and food trucks. We had some delicious food from Parilya, Taste of the Philippines.
The chicken and pork bbq was awesome. Garlic rice, lumpia, and a delicious ube brownie.
Look at that purple color, love it. Ube is apparently from the yam family.
They had traditional music
Big Costumes
Lots of people
A little something for everyone and a celebration of the strong Asian and Pacific culture in the area.
It was a nice break from spaying dirt off the driveway and patio. More on that tomorrow... Last time, i promise.
Cheers.
