My Actifit Report Card: January 8 2025

Hey there!

I thought I'd share a quick summary of my daily physical activities with you. It was a pretty active day, and I'm feeling good about it!

First thing in the morning, I went for a brisk walk around the neighborhood. It's my usual routine to get some fresh air and wake up my body. I did about 30 minutes of walking, and it’s always nice to see familiar faces and say hello to the neighbors.

After breakfast, I squeezed in a yoga session. Lately, I've been really into following this YouTube instructor who mixes in mindfulness with stretching. Spent around 45 minutes doing that, which helped me feel more centered and flexible.

In the early afternoon, I hit the gym. Today was leg day, so I focused on squats, lunges, and deadlifts. I did three sets of each exercise, making sure to take my time and use proper form. The whole session took about an hour, and boy, were my legs feeling it afterward!

Later in the day, I took my bike out for a spin. There's this beautiful trail near my place, and I love riding through it. Did about 10 miles, which was roughly an hour of cycling. It’s such a great way to enjoy the outdoors and get some cardio in.

Before dinner, I decided to throw in a quick 15-minute ab workout. Just the basics: crunches, planks, and bicycle kicks. It's short but effective, and it's amazing how much stronger my core has become over time.

To wind down the evening, I went for a short walk after dinner just to help with digestion and get a bit more fresh air. It was a relaxing way to end an active day.

So, that’s pretty much it! I tried to keep things varied and fun, and I definitely feel like I got a great mix of exercises in. Hope you had an active day too!
