Hallo zusammen,
nachdem mein Sohn und ich in der letzten Woche noch mit der Grippe zu kämpfen hatten, mussten wir uns langsam wieder in das normale Leben zurück kämpfen. Wir konnten 4 Tage lang das Bett nicht verlassen, da wir sehr hohes Fieber hatten.
So fühlte sich der plötzliche Einzug des Frühlings gestern noch einmal mehr an, wie eine Rückkehr ins Leben.

After my son and I were still struggling with the flu last week, we had to slowly fight our way back to normal life. We couldn't get out of bed for 4 days as we had very high fevers.
So the sudden arrival of spring yesterday felt even more like a return to life.
Vorgestern hatten wir morgens noch -5 Grad und gestern plötzlich +16 Grad. Das ist schon ein krasser Temperatursprung, der außer Frühlingsgefühlen leider auch Kopfschmerzen mit sich brachte. Nichtsdestotrotz sind wir nach draußen gegangen und haben unseren ersten Frühlingsspaziergang des Jahres gemacht.
The day before yesterday it was -5 degrees in the morning and yesterday it was suddenly +16 degrees. That's quite a big jump in temperature, which unfortunately brought not only spring fever but also headaches. Nevertheless, we went outside and went for our first spring walk of the year.
Im Kurpark konnten wir uns an Wiesen voller bunter Frühjahrsblüher erfreuen.
In the spa gardens, we were able to enjoy meadows full of colorful spring flowers.
Wie hübsch doch die zart violetten feinen Blüten der Krokusse anzuschauen sind, wie sie sich aus dem kargen Boden ihren Weg bahnen und uns den Frühling einläuten.
How pretty the delicate purple flowers of the crocuses are to look at as they make their way out of the barren ground and herald the arrival of spring.
Abgesehen von dem Blütenmeer auf den Wiesen ist die Natur insgesamt noch sehr karg. Aber wenn man näher hinschaut, sieht man hier und da schon ein paar Knospen, die bald wieder alles in ein schönes zartes Grün tauchen werden.
Apart from the sea of flowers in the meadows, nature as a whole is still very sparse. But if you take a closer look, you can already see a few buds here and there, which will soon bathe everything in a beautiful, delicate green again.
Die Sonne verbarg sich leider die meiste Zeit hinter einem leichten Schleier. Dennoch war es sehr mild und angenehm und wir genossen es, einfach draußen zu sein.
Unfortunately, the sun was hidden behind a light veil most of the time. Nevertheless, it was very mild and pleasant and we enjoyed just being outside.
Aus dem Kurpark kommend, sind wir noch etwas weiter durch die City spaziert. Man spürt, wie das Leben draußen wieder beginnt zu pulsieren. Überall wurden die Stühle nach draußen geholt und die Menschen genossen das milde Wetter bei einem Kaffee oder Eis.
Coming out of the Kurpark, we walked a little further through the city. You can feel life outside starting to pulsate again. Chairs were pulled out everywhere and people were enjoying the mild weather with a coffee or ice cream.
Auch wir gönnten uns eine Kugel Eis und setzten uns auf ein paar Stufen an einen kleinen Fluss, der durch die Stadt verläuft. Zwischendurch schaffte es die Sonne kurz durch den Schleier und wärmte unsere Nacken. Ein herrliches Gefühl.
We also treated ourselves to a scoop of ice cream and sat down on a few steps by a small river that runs through the city. Every now and then, the sun made it through the veil and warmed our necks. A wonderful feeling.
Wenn man gerade krank war, schätzt man die kleinen Dinge im Leben wieder umso mehr. Wieder gesund zu sein, draußen an der frischen Luft spazieren zu gehen, ohne dabei zu frieren, ein paar Frühlingsblumen und eine Kugel Eis...ein Gefühl der Erfüllung!
When you've just been ill, you appreciate the little things in life even more. Being healthy again, going for a walk outside in the fresh air without freezing, a few spring flowers and a scoop of ice cream... a feeling of fulfillment!

Wow is is so great to see spring springing in other parts of the world when we are still fully entrenched in winter here.
8k steps after you have been bedridden a few days sure are premium steps. Now I can’t wait to get out in my garden and see the first blooms pop up!

Yes, for me it's also the best thing every year when spring comes and you can go out into the garden again. Today I was even able to sit in the sun for an hour :) I'm keeping my fingers crossed that spring arrives soon for you too!

Wow, must be lovely welcoming spring after the winter season. Thank you for your lovely photos. Since we do not have four seasons, I've never really experienced winter or spring, so this is lovely to read. It's like I was there too. 😆 Happy week ahead!
