Boys being boys! Mucking around with each other.
I was just looking back at my journey to getting fit and healthy again and realised that it has now been 2 months! I started on
13th of September and thanks to Actifit I have been faithfully logging all my exercises and I have come a long way. Because of my knee surgery earlier this year, I could hardly walk properly much less do any active exercise and today, I am pretty sure that we cycled over 10km with the kids.Unfortunately we didn't map our ride but I will definitely do that next week. Today was really good with over 20k steps! Woohoo!!🥳
Discovering new places and areas!
We headed to Cyberjaya Lakeside today as we didn't manage to finish the other side of the area. I must say that if you live in Putrajaya or Cyberjaya, you are so fortunate as there is so much nature, open spaces, forest areas and parks galore to exercise.
Enjoying the different views
So today, we rode all the way from Cyberjaya to the Putrajaya main town area. We rode past the Istana (Palace) and all the main housing areas along the lakeside. We rode as far as we could until we reach an area with stairs and then decided to turn back around. In total we cycled for about a total of 3 hours!

Water sports anyone?
It was a good time for us to bond with the kids as we chatted along the way and during the drive to and fro which was at least half an hour. One thing that Hubby and I talked about also was how we really wanted our children to be active and sporty so that they can learn important traits like persistence, resilience, competition and sportsmanship. We had to really encourage and push both our boys to continue to cycle even though they were tired and to enjoy the journey. Not bad for a 5 and 7 year old to be cycling for 3 hours plus right?

We were overdue for lunch so off we headed to a cafe in Puchong and boy does food taste good after a big exercise! Then we were off home to a shower and clean up before heading over to see my parents. Another thing that we want to teach the boys is the importance of family. So we make a point to see their grandparents at least once a week!

After dinner together and we then headed home to get ready for a new week tomorrow. I couldn't reisist our bath tub and decided to have a good hot sock in the tub with magnesium salts. I feel superbly relaxed and happy! Yes this weekend was so awesome! God provided us with such beautiful weather and wonderful family time together. I am so thankful and grateful. I am so looking forward to next week when we plan our new adventure to new places.
