Not as much writing today, in part because I’ve had a headache going for a good chunk of it, but still not a terrible amount of writing.
The game for today was Era of Jackals, which is technically a two-pager (first page for the core rules, second page for GM stuff). It’s powered by a variant of the dice system that powers Jovia, though there are notable deviations, but it’s set in the same universe as my thesis novel. That same setting features in Letters from December, making Era of Jackals both an opportunity to play as the “bad guys” (though being evil is not obligatory) and a chance to see the same universe from a different lens. The two games are not rule-compatible, however.
Other than that, I can’t think of a lot to say. I got the RMA stuff for my laptop sorted out, so now I just need to handle the actual shipping it out. I have game night tomorrow night, so I might try to get it ready to go tomorrow evening after that’s done and then do the actual shipping Thursday morning so that I don’t have more down-time on that than strictly necessary.
