I did some dog walking and a few other things today. There has been a lot going on for me recently that has been mentally tiring. I did not get even the minimum number of steps yesterday and got home late so I did not make my usual post.
I did make it to Colorado in time after a couple days of driving. The second day went really fast because I did not have as far to go.
Today some family members had to evacuate their home because there was a danger from a forest fire. It was getting really close to the houses and the wind was blowing hard. It has calmed down now so hopefully they can control the fire.
I did a bad job of packing for this trip. I grabbed a nice looking pair of pants that don't fit in spite of being my size. Plus it is way warmer here than I thought it would be and I didn't pack any shorts and grabbed a thicker long sleeve shirt. Oh well, I might have to go shopping or something.

Sorry your packing and current weather needs don't match. When I was growing up and we packed to go to the beach, things weren't so built up where we use to go and there wasn't much in the way of shopping, so we had to be more careful to make sure we got down there with everything. Years later, there was a Walmart and a mall, just like everywhere else, so if you missed something, it was easy to acquire something that would work ok while you were there. That took the stress out of making sure you had just the right stuff. Don't get me wrong, we didn't really want to buy more stuff after we got there, but it was there if needed.
It's not fair ! You went to all of that effort and that's how you're paid for it. LOL !
Hopefully people will be safe and the fire will be extinguished quickly. You have done some beautiful flower photography. The flowers are really nice.

This is good that fire calmed down and peoples are safe.
Constant travel will surely make you tired. After that, hearing the news of the fire would have caused more trouble. But thankfully everything is safe.
