My friends and I played a couple of eighteen-hole disc golf rounds today. I won the first round with scores at: E, +2, +5, and +13.
On the second pitch and putt round, there were two scores at even and one at +6. I was in a tie with an even score. It is getting a bit easier to play the pitch and putt course, but it can become difficult if the wind picks up and it is a tournament round.
I felt good about today's rounds. I wish I played as well when we are having a tournament. When you are relaxed and enjoying things, it is easier to play well.
We saw a coyote walking across the warm-up field when we were leaving. I tried to get a picture, but he was moving too fast and too far away. It is the first time I have seen a coyote in the area.
There have been a lot of these little bugs in the blackberries this year:
I'm not sure how this one got into my harvest:
It was a bit hard to get the bug out of the bowl it kept hiding under berries when I removed one. After I left it alone, it just crawled out on its own.

Liz soaks the berries in water in a bowl, and the bugs come running out Lol!😄
As a kid I'm sure I ate a few!😳
Enjoy the weekend my friend, awesome @actifit steps today!!
Usually, I don't wash the berries because I like to spread them out on a cookie sheet and freeze them right away. That way they don't clump together or fall apart. I think the freezing kills any bacteria and I know nothing has been sprayed on them - hence the bugs, lol.
That makes a lot of sense!😀
If we have extra berries we usually freeze them as well, didn't really think about it killing bacteria!😀
Looks like you had a great day playing disc golf with your friends! Winning the first round and enjoying the throws and putts must have been a great experience. It's always fun when the weather permits, but I can imagine the wind could add an extra challenge. And seeing a coyote must be a pleasant surprise! The insects on blackberries seem quite tenacious and persistent, but I'm glad you were able to gently guide them through the harvest season. 🌞🍇
I enjoy seeing all the different bugs out there; they don't seem to harm anything. My berries are not as big as the ones you see in the store but are very tasty and perfectly ripe. There are way more than I can use so I just let the birds and other critters have them or give the neighbors some.
Hello my brother.. it's winter and fruit season so there are many insects that live on fruits and also on young plants.. in my area there are also very many insects.. just yesterday I saw these insects. The insect is a little dangerous for plants and fruits, it is almost the same as pests.
You are right. Sometimes, pressure and anxiety make us not to get what we want. Maybe you should work on that next time you are engaging in a tournament.
I am always trying to improve my mental game, but it has been very challenging. I am improving, but that's not saying much.
Okay, that's good.
Very well played I'm always going to be a winner or happy to be a winner I think it's equal times so I think it's good to have both of you sharing the experience anyways I'm glad to hear that today went very well for you
Glad to hear you are enjoying a game of golf today with your friends especially when you won the first round
is the shape of a coyote different from a normal dog? I think almost all plants must have a lot of bugs that will like fruit, especially blackberry plants, of course they really like it
A coyote looks a lot like a dog, there is not much of a difference.
A positive attitude and self-belief are the most important thing to play, be it in any sport. Here we use different pesticides or insecticides to remove these bugs from crops.
Hopefully you can enter the tournament you want, and for the plants, maybe it's bug season everywhere, I also experienced the same thing, lucky it didn't affect my plants
Those blackberries looks so fresh
Looking good score, hope you enjoy today game, looking nice picture
It would be interesting to see a coyote and it kind of brings him luck because he was very good at his game of discus, so for the next tournament he will be well prepared. @lightsplasher I wish you success from Venezuela.
Very good activity article.. how are you today friends.
