I played pretty well in the disc golf tournament today. It was windy and rainy. For the conditions, I think I did alright.
After the main tournament round, my friend and I played a short round on the pitch and putt course. We were just out having fun. My friend made a wild throw that went into a pond. I managed to get it back with my disc retriever tool. It was a bit difficult because the disc kept wanting to sink down in the pond, and there were a lot of hidden branches and stuff in the water. The bank of the pond was really steep, and I was worried a bit about falling in the pond.

You take a disc du in the river, will the disc sink more easily into the river, can you know in one disc how much it weighs?
It's always good to be careful because I've seen golf pieces and the puddles inside them are very deep. Always be careful.

Ha ha … be careful out there. You might need scuba gear for that sport.
Some people with scuba gear have recovered many discs from lakes near disc golf courses. I saw a video about it that someone posted a while back. Still, I would rather avoid swimming in some of these ponds, but the rivers can be fun in the summer.
