Heya Hiva シ
Ready or not, here I come..
-> from sighting a minion.. whilst feeling fatigued.
Adventure afoot!
Ok, so I haven't slept very well for some days now. Not sure if it's the bed, drinking coffee too late, unresolved stress, regularly focusing on bright green & red candles at horrendous hours.. or a combination of the lot?! It certainly can't be due to a lack of fresh air or sunshine.. even exercise for that matter - as I'm getting a fair deal regularly now.
All things considered, I've still been looking forward to my cleanup walks. Besides the good it does for the environment.. the opportunity also serves to provide me with some well needed inner peace. Though being out may have some inherent risks.. the calm I enjoy as a result thereof, more than makes up for my required vigilance.

Why not start the cleanup off with something small?.. like this sweet wrapper for example - which there's nothing sweet about! As you can see, it was very close to the waters edge - spoiling what should have otherwise been a perfect scene. Thankfully, I got to it in time!

Marinade anyone?.. well, I wouldn't exactly try it out lol. Doesn't look too safe. It's wild the things one can find out here!

Ok, then how about some avocado oil?.. yeah, obviously wouldn't do that either. But again, wow!

After..
Assorted seasoning.. doesn't surprize me one bit considering - what was previously recovered.

There's a common trend here! Fancy that.. an empty tobasco sauce bottle. I think the other container may have held honey (the picture of the bee is what I'm going by).

Then I came across a couple of old lighters, a small toy car and.. yup, a minion! I definitely never expected that when I set out this morning. How random is that!

After..
A corkscrew.. need I saw more. This was accompanied by another weird gizmo.

You'll never guess what the next pile of junk contained.. appears to be some sort of covid test! Hopefully it wasn't used at any point. That thought is kinda worrying. Handled it with care (whilst holding my breath) just in case.

In a more remote part of the bush, I managed to find a large paper carrier - from one of the local supermarkets. Not cool to find, but better than plastic.

Then, I was able to also find this foil container. The one side was blackened - which I'm guessing may indicate, that someone out here may have used it on an open fire (to heat/cook food perhaps).

The final item for the day was a 2 litre long life milk (actually still full and sealed). As I cannot truly ascertain the safety of its contents.. there was no choice but to dump it with the other trash.

The rubbish collected was again emptied in one of the local public municipal bins. Very stoked with the day's progress. Look forward to a good night's rest.
Till next time,

You really know how to put the bag in garbage.
You really know how to put the age in garb.
I know how to put the G in garbage that's for sure.
I think you're confused, since all I ever see you putting the G in is...
Daddy's G
🤣 ..I needed there to be three images for each, otherwise it would just freak me out. It's also really difficult to get that picture - balancing a heavy bag of rubbish in the wind, trying to keep my feet out of the pic, and using my left hand on the phone lmao. It's intense haha.
And shadows, don't forget for those. They can trash a place when they're not supposed to.
I gotta say, that's one fancy green garbage bin. The ones here all look like the intentional trainwrecks they are.
Lol.. we have some ugly ones as well. Though, yeah.. these little public bins are dope!
Yes, those ones are dope, colour and shape. I'm wondering what the ugly ones look like where you are. 😂
Bins haha.. well the ones which come too mind would probs be those open metal barrels (which I've seen gather some nasty water from rain). Some are in ok condition, but they seem to rust.. so an old rusted one of those I reckon. Fortunately the one near us seems to be on the better side of that equation - though not my favourite option.
