Thanks for sharing @madame-cyntaia that trail looks sooo beautiful ..especially love the little stream! Are any of the mushrooms edible? So the turles eat mushrooms? am I understanding that correctly? ..that's very interesting. Cool!

!PIZZAThanks, @ma3str0! I'm sure many of the mushrooms are edible, but while I have fun using my plantID app, I'm not well-versed in mushroom forging... so I don't try them! And yes, the Three Toed Box turtles that we have everywhere here definitely eat the mushrooms. We've seen them nibbling on them. They wander along and take bites out of different mushrooms but leave them growing. Like a turtle snack buffet!
That's soooo cute.. a few years ago, we had some turtles wonder into the yard from a pond up the road.. not sure what type they were, though, but adorable nonetheless. It's awesome that there's an app like that! I wouldn't personally rely on any app for the mushrooms, though. You can't be careful enough. Look forward to more of your posts @madame-cyntaia !
