Actifit, Today I had the pleasure of getting to know in depth the beautiful village of Jarillo, I certainly already knew it, but only at night, that is to say, when I visited it for the first time I went at night and did not stay overnight, so I was intrigued to see what the dynamics of this farming village would be like during the day.
Llegué a los teques el domingo a las 11:40 pm para amanecer allá el día de hoy y así irnos desde temprano hacia el Jarillo, eso hicimos, amaneció, desayunamos y tomamos rumbo hacia este pueblo vecino de la ciudad de Los Teques. El Jarillo es considerado el segundo rincón de Alemania en Venezuela, el primero es la Colonia Tovar el cual está ubicado en el municipio Tovar. El pueblo del Jarillo se caracteriza por ser un pueblo agricultor, se puede decir, que el principal rubro cultivado es el durazno, mora y la fresa, hay otros cultivos que se desarrollan, pero en una escala menor. Desde que conocí esta localidad del estado miranda quedé enamorado de su ubicación y su vegetación.
I arrived in Los Teques on Sunday at 11:40 pm in order to get up at dawn today, so that we could leave early for El Jarillo, that's what we did, it was dawn, we had breakfast and we headed towards this neighbouring town of Los Teques. El Jarillo is considered the second German corner in Venezuela, the first one is Colonia Tovar which is located in the municipality of Tovar. The town of Jarillo is characterised as an agricultural town, the main crops grown are peaches, blackberries and strawberries, other crops are also grown, but on a smaller scale. Since I got to know this town in the state of Miranda, I fell in love with its location and its vegetation.
Llegamos al pueblo del Jarillo, realizamos algunas paradas para tomar algunas series de fotografías contemplando las vistas del paisaje que nos regalaba el lugar. Luego de realizar varias paradas y tomar cualquier cantidad de fotografías seguimos nuestro recorrido hacia el embalse de Agua Fría, el camino estaba bastante deteriorado con trayectos totalmente rocosos, otros llenos de mucha grava y el resto era pantanos, sin embargo, llegamos a nuestro destino sanos y salvo sin caernos y sin ningún accidente.
Nuestra estancia en el embalse de Agua Fría fue extraordinaria, es un espacio físico natural lleno de mucha vegetación boscosa en la que habitan aminales silvestres, aves, animales acuáticos entre otros, es un lugar completamente internado en medio de la naturaleza. El espejo de agua del embalse era bastante denso y oscuro ocultando en el un gran ecosistema acuáticos gobernado por peses Coy y Truchas introducidas por el hombre.
Ya para finalizar, nos realizamos una serie de fotografías a orillas del embalse antes de retornar hacia el pueblo de San Pedro sitio donde me estaba quedando.
We arrived at the town of Jarillo, we made some stops to take some series of photographs contemplating the views of the landscape that the place offered us. After making several stops and taking a number of photographs we continued our journey towards the Agua Fría reservoir, the road was quite deteriorated with rocky paths, others full of gravel and the rest was marshland, however, we arrived at our destination safe and sound without falling and without any accidents.
Our stay at the Agua Fria reservoir was extraordinary, it is a natural physical space full of wooded vegetation inhabited by wild aminals, birds, aquatic animals among others, it is a place completely immersed in the middle of nature. The water mirror of the reservoir was quite dense and dark hiding in it a large aquatic ecosystem governed by Coy fish and trout introduced by man.
Finally, we took a series of photographs on the banks of the reservoir before returning to the town of San Pedro where I was staying.
