Saludos amigos de
Actifit, el pasado 2 de enero de este nuevo año 2024 tuve la oportunidad de compartir con Emiro Pedreañez una de mis pasiones y hobbies favoritos, el cual es, hacer senderismo y compartir con la naturaleza y su entorno.
Emiro y yo planificamos subir el Ávila incluso con varios días de antelación, principalmente para compartir un poco más y enseñarles a usar la DApps de Actifit y ciertas cosas dentro de Hive y SWC.
Lo cierto es que el año nuevo llegó y pues comprometí mi palabra y el día 2 de enero me dirigí hacia la ciudad de caracas para subir hasta el Punto Fitness de Sabas Nieves, aunque la idea principal era subir hasta el mirador conocido como “Piedra del Indio”, el cual es uno de los miradores con las vistas más espectaculares que tiene la ciudad de caracas.

Actifit, last January 2nd of this new year 2024 I had the opportunity to share with Emiro Pedreañez one of my favourite hobbies and passions, which is hiking and sharing with nature and its environment.
Emiro and I planned to climb the Avila even several days in advance, mainly to share a bit more and teach them how to use the Actifit DApps and certain things within Hive and SWC.
The truth is that the new year arrived and so I kept my word and on the 2nd of January I went to the city of Caracas to climb up to the Fitness Point of Sabas Nieves, although the main idea was to climb up to the viewpoint known as "Piedra del Indio", which is one of the viewpoints with the most spectacular views that the city of Caracas has.
Lo cierto es que no logramos llegar hasta el mirador de “Piedra del Indio” debido a que salí muy tarde de la ciudad de Maracay, me dirigí a caracas en transporte público, fue bastante fácil y tranquilo tomar un bus hacia la ciudad de caracas, tomé la previsión de preguntar hasta que hora trabajaban las busetas hacia la ciudad de Maracay para evitar perder el transporte. Una vez ya estando en caracas, tomé el metro en la estación de la Bandera y tomé ruta hacia Palo Verde con destino a Altamira.
The truth is that we did not manage to get to the "Piedra del Indio" viewpoint because I left the city of Maracay very late, I went to Caracas by public transport, it was quite easy and quiet to take a bus to the city of Caracas, I took the precaution of asking until what time the buses to the city of Maracay worked to avoid missing the transport. Once in Caracas, I took the metro at the Bandera station and took the route to Palo Verde with destination Altamira.
Llegué a la Plaza Francia y ahí estaba Emiro esperándome para dirigirnos hacia la entrada del Parque Nacional. Comenzamos a subir luego de que configuráramos la aplicación de Actifit en nuestros dispositivos celulares.
El recorrido fue bastante agradable, debo decir que Emiro es tremendo compañero para hacer rutas, te motiva, te acompaña, hecha cuentos contigo, se detiene a tomar fotografías y su compañía es bastante agradable.
I arrived at Plaza Francia and there was Emiro waiting for me to lead us to the entrance of the National Park. We started climbing after we set up the Actifit app on our mobile devices.
The tour was quite pleasant, I must say that Emiro is a tremendous companion for hiking, he motivates you, accompanies you, tells stories with you, stops to take pictures and his company is quite pleasant.
El camino fue bastante agradable, el recorrido fue relativamente rápido, aunque nos detuvimos un par de veces para descansar y tomar fotografías no demoramos ni una hora en llegar a nuestro principal destino, “las barras” y el punto de Inparques.

The ride was quite pleasant, although we stopped a couple of times to rest and take pictures, it didn't take us an hour to reach our main destination, "las barras" and the Inparques point.
