Am back again to narrate my ordeal with yesterday. I felt extraordinary fatigue when I came back home that I couldn't drop this report immediately because all my cells and arteries were already battling with me for me to give them some rest. Why?
That yesterday, being Friday, I engaged into so many activities requiring strength. But the only thing is that I couldn't capture them all because I plugged my phone in my sister's house which is few poles away from my destination. There was no power supply at the moment so since my sister uses solar energy in their house, I decided to plug it there while carrying some activities like laundry, attending to farm, arranging the house and many more.
Later towards evening, I visited Asso gas station with my phone. But why? My next post in spendhbd community will give a definition to that.
Earlier before then, I intended going to farm to harvest cassava but poor network affected and nearly twisted my plan. I went home late in the evening but pummel my body, cells and nerves to get ready for extraordinary work which is harvesting of cassava. Immediately, I took my motorcycle, bag, how and matchet to the farm. Mum was totally angry with me because it's as if am placing more priority to my work. To soften her heart, I did something extraordinary by going to farm when it's late.
As she saw my determination to carry out my motive, she tried stopping me but I told her that it is best for me to harvest the cassava that evening because base on our movement this week and next week, there will be no chance to do it until the next 2 weeks and that will mean hunger and starvation for us. Then, she reasoned with me and allowed me to go.
I was inside farm until 7:15pm. Thank God the farm is beside someone's house. So nothing to be afraid of apart from snake.
Done, I gathered the whole cassava and arranged them inside bag.
While going to the farm, I bought a a specie of mango I haven't tasted for the first time but determined to have a taste of it. The mango is very huge. lolz, using the word big is underrating. Even my phone camera couldn't capture properly how big the mango was.
I enjoyed it immediately after arranging the cassava. The depth of the flesh is extraordinary too. The taste is nice as well but the only thing I discovered about the mango is that some part of it is as if the ingredients God used in preparing it didn't reach some part of the mango lolz.
Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the mango and also appreciate it's maker. It was almost 8pm when I reach home. I couldn't have imagine what would be our fate base on food had it be I restrained myself from harvesting the cassava today. Right now, we are processing it.
