We took advantage of the half day to go into town for errands. I took all the kids to the library while Katy went to the grocery store. If it were the other way around, I think that I would have a lot more steps!
Our sky is partially obstructed here, but still the starlink has been pretty reliable. Will see how it does tomorrow with a full workday.

Starlink works pretty well as long as it has a view of the sky. If there are any obstructions (tree cover) blocking the sky, then it has brief interruptions that interrupt video calls and VPN connections. The more obstructions, the more frequent the interruptions. With near total obstruction, it becomes basically unusable.
Some campgrounds have a lot of tree cover and very few spots where the starlink can actually see the sky. That's especially a problem here in the Pacific Northwest. I think we will have fewer issues later this year when we go southeast across Utah and into Texas.
Good to know, I was wondering about StarLink. Our neighbor on top of our hill just had StarLink installed, I guess being on a ridge top they probably have a solid connection!😊
