Once she returns home, she will get daily help from home healthcare providers, such as wound care and personal hygiene assistance.
I am deeply grateful for the wonderful healthcare system in the Netherlands.
She will also attend cardiac rehabilitation twice a week to rebuild her strength.
To keep my own heart healthy, I opted for the stairs during my hospital visit, tackling four flights up and down.
I felt a surge of satisfaction knowing I could manage it with ease.
