Yesterday, we planned to visit a mango orchard in the neighboring village. We liked the mangoes from that orchard, so we decided to buy them by weight. In the morning, a few of us went to the orchard. It wasn't too far away, just a 30-minute walk from our house. We also have mango orchard in our own village, but the mangoes in this special orchard are beautiful and of delicious varieties.
I will go there with some of my friends. The owner of the mango orchard will also be with us. We will pick all the mangoes from the trees one by one and then buy them at the market price. We had breakfast at home before leaving.
Along the way, a friend of mine reminded me of an incident that happened several years ago when he fell from a tree while picking mangoes and injured his leg. It took him a long time to recover. Eating mangoes straight from the tree was our childhood passion. However, we never imagined that our friend would face such danger. Since that accident, he didn't climb trees for mangoes anymore; he just reminisces about that incident and laughs out loud. We reached the garden while talking.
The owner of the orchard was also present there. We picked a total of six mango trees. The trees weren't too tall, we picked most of the mangoes from standing on the ground.
There are various types of mangoes in this orchard, but the Miyazaki mangoes are not available 😆. It's grown in Japan and highly valued. I have heard that they sell and trade these Miyazaki mangoes at a very high price. I have watched videos on YouTube and Instagram about the cultivation of these mangoes with great care. Anyway I started talking about the most expensive mango in the world.
I collected mangoes from almost six different trees one by one. Now we have to pack these and take in home. While picking mangoes we found several ripe ones which we started eating right there. The mangoes we collected are mainly raw. But if kept carefully, they will ripen within a few days and become suitable for consumption. I gave some mangoes from my purchased mangoes to the orchard owner's family. And, I gave some mangoes to my friends also. We brought the mangoes home very carefully. All we returned home by afternoon.
