Sunday morning.
The weather was nice and sunny, so we decided to spend the day outside the house.
We decided to go to the mountains which are about half an hour away by car. We brought empty bottles to fill with fresh spring water, we usually drink that water from a natural spring.
I also brought a camera because I wanted to take a walk in the woods hoping to find some mushrooms for Fungi Friday. For now, I have some pictures of mushrooms that I found last week, but I thought I would be lucky today to supplement with new pictures.
I found only this one
But to our surprise, it was so cold there in the mountains that our excursion ended soon after the bottles were filled with water.
We returned home without a walk and new pictures of mushrooms. But going to a place that is at almost 1000 meters above sea level, on the last day of January in shorts and a sweatshirt, is not the best idea.
Lesson learned, next time at least a jacket to bring.
There was a cut piece of wood... Prabably it was a part from this tree
...and you know what I did, right? Yes!! I documented the date :-)

Is that spring water? Do you collect it every day?
Lovely scenery too.
Not every day, of course :-) We went with 24 bottles , so it is more or less for three weeks...and than we go again...
That is a spring water, it is confirmed that is the best in our region. We drink it for a couple of years now, instead of tap water.

It was -20 Celsius this morning here, so I am just dreaming of wearing shorts again! Cheers for the wine :) Forgive me, as I'm still pretty new here - what exactly does this WINE mean?
Wine is a token you can give away like a tip, there is beer as well, and engagement token... I use just wine at the moment.
-20 degrees, nice hahahaha. Once I was traveling (not in Spain) and it was -23...the handle of the car froze and we couldn't close the door...and we were at the highway...in the middle of the night... hahahah, that was interesting 🤣

Great scenery in these mountains! So even at 1000m altitude, you usually don't get snow there, even a little?
We have seen a really thin layer , when Madrid was full of snow, some two-three weeks ago... But the police cut the roads as everyone living here by the sea wanted to go to see the snow....and there was a traffic collapse 🤦🏻♀️
