Today was another day at Dollywood. We didn't do quite as much walking as we did yesterday. I did get a good workout in though. Dollywood has this cool little experience that allows you to do some blacksmithing in their forge and create your own knife. I don't usually do things like this but it seemed like a pretty unique opportunity so I signed up my son and myself for it.
Let me first say that I got a little out of breath at first with all the hammering. When you're beating down a railroad spike to make it flat, you've got to pit som power behind it. My son had it a little easier as he made his knife out of a horseshoe. I got a couple of pics of him during the process.

It was a really good time and a good father and son bonding experience. Here's what it looked like as was nearing the end of the flattening process. I'll make another post in a couple of days with other pics.
I ended up with just over 21000 again today. That should help increase my rankings. I also had 74 active minutes, most of which came during my blacksmithing activities. It was a pretty good day.
Continuing with the theme: Each night I post the song that was playing as I ended the workout and use that as the title for the post for that day. Today it was actually a song from Lord of the Rings. The mountains in Tennessee and the southern United States are often referred to as the smokey mountains due to the mist that often surround their peaks. LOTR (Lord of the Rings) happens to have this song about a fictional "Misty Mountains". So I played this song for the kids and told them it was about the Smokey Mountains 😆. I'll come clean with them one day.
Well that's it for tonight. I see I didn't make the midnight cutoff. I'll have to figure out how to pay this now. See y'all tomorrow.

Heh, I love Dollywood, but haven't been there in about 25 years.
Imagine a theme park where they let you make and carry around solid iron bladed weapons.
Good times.
To be fair, they didn't let me carry it around. I had to either have it delivered to my hotel or pick it up at the exit. It was still cool.
Oh well that sort of stabbed my ideas in the back then.
Well your ideas are always very cutting edge anyway.
You gotta be sharp to survive around here
