In the photo above, I used an effect to distort the whole image, but I lessened the effect for the first couple of steps. That's a reflection on how planning works best for me. I like to focus on what's in front of me and leave the details of the future for a later time.

Today I had to get a late workout in so that I could get my steps and post before midnight. I decided to do a stair workout. I find that it is the easiest way to get my heart pumping without actually running. It's also a combined strength and cardio workout. It seems to be working for me.

I finished today with 7000 steps. I was glad to get that, but I was really happy with the 37 active minutes. I also got 15 flights of stairs. I also only had 1200 calories which evens out the higher calorie day I had yesterday.

Continuing with the theme: Each night I post the song that was playing as I ended the workout and use that as the title for the post for that day. Today that song was Humble by Kendrick Lamar. I figured Kendrick is hot right now so I played Kendrick inspired playlist. This song happened to be on at the end of my workout. It's got a killer beat, but it's kind of short.

Well, that's it for today. Tomorrow my goal is 7k steps and 1800 calories or less.
