Deadly Melody: February 14 2025

LOL! Today was a failure on multiple fronts. I was doing good for most of the day and then I decided to get a pizza for lunch. It was a late lunch. I didn't intend to eat most of the pizza, but that's what I did. On top of that, I didn't even work out very much at all. It was Valentine's Day, so I even started my day off with a donut. Sigh. Oh well, no use crying over a spilt milk. The highlight of my day was watching my son play basketball. He had a pretty good game.

I finished the day with only 5000 steps. I also somehow managed to get 12 active minutes and 10 flights of stairs. I didn't even input all my calories, but I will do that in a little bit just to make sure I'm keeping track of everything. I think it's an important thing to do in order to keep momentum.

Continuing with the theme: Each night I post the song that was playing as I ended the workout and use that as the title for the post for that day. Today's song is Deadly Melody by Wu Tang Clan. I love the beat of this song. It's quintessential Wu. I also love the way they pass the mic back and forth, and how they each have a different style and delivery. It's a good song.

Well that has to be it for today. Tomorrow, I'm aiming for 13000 steps and 1800 calories.
