You Know How We Do It: March 6 2025

Today was another super busy day at work. I got out of the house early in basically ran all day long non-stop. Didn't even have a chance to really catch my breath until about five o'clock. Even then the rest was pretty short as we had to get ready to go to a sports banquet for my son. I had a good time at the banquet though, and my son was recognized by the coach for his defensive play.

I finished the day with blank steps and ten flights of stairs. My heart rate monitor on my Fitbit is still broke, but I think I'm gonna try a hard reset tomorrow sometime. When I do that, I'll lose all the data. So I got to do it at a time when the battery's charged and when I don't already have steps recorded.

Continuing with the theme: Each night I post the song that was playing as I ended the workout and use that as the title for the post for that day. The song for today was, You Know How We Do It by Ice Cube. This is one of those songs that make me reminisce. It takes me back to a time when I used to like to just drive around and listen to music blaring out my car stereo. Life seems so much better in those days. I didn't have "... nothing going on, but the bomb-ass rap song." Ah, those were the days.

Well, that's it for tonight. For tomorrow, my goal is 10,000 steps and 1,800 calories.
