After taking some time off to enjoy a small vacation I’m back to my usual training routine.
I always try to push for a new personal best every Monday. I’m usually able to shave a couple seconds every week. Today I tried a new strategy, started pushing extra hard right from the start, running way faster than usual, going as fast as I could.
After that initial push I just tried to keep going at my usual pace. I was going for a 6km run but after 5 km I couldn’t possibly keep going at a decent pace so I decided to call it quits.
On the bright side I was able to set a new personal best, way better than my previous one.
