I’ve been training for a while, to be able to run a 10 km in under 60 minutes. Which at this point I think I could if I went for it, I have been able to keep increasing my running distances every week while keeping my pace well bellow 6’00’’.
Today I was able to run 6.5 Km with a 5’38’’ pace, I could have gone for a while longer without slowing down but it was too hot outside and I could take the heat anymore.
Although I think I’m ready for the 10 Km, I will just keep my training plan and see how fast I can do it just by slowly increasing my running distance every week. I believe I will be able to do it in under 55 minutes but only time will tell. I’m planing on going for a fast 10 Km run by end of April. After that I will just keep running at least 2 10K’s a week and improve my time as much as possible.
I would also like to run an half marathon before the end of the year, hopefully I will be able to do it in under 1 hour and 45 minutes by then.
