Pushing the Limits - My Actifit Report Card: December 27 2024

Started at the gym with the family early again today to take advantage of the day off from work again. Despite having some cardio sessions earlier this week, I felt like I needed to push a bit more as I continue to feel comfortable with expanding my boundaries. I had a GTX class today which was targeting Zones 2/3 with intervals both on the treadmill and with some weight training. I found myself consistently in Zone 3 which was where I wanted to be for the push.

The amount of sweat I had afterwards got me straight to the Spa for some recovery. I did not do as much as the heat side given the amount of sweat I had already achieved with the workout. Before leaving, I took a dip into the Cold Plunge as found myself quite comfortable as I think my body was still heating up from the HIIT session. I surprised myself in being able to stay for a full three minutes without needing to take separate dips. It is a great to see if this could be a start of a trend as well. Many things headed in the right direction for me!

Hitting the gym is always a good thing for a man. You just don’t know how much potential your body has until you push it beyond its limits. Keep up the good work
