Next Phase - My Actifit Report Card: December 30 2024

Today I started the next phase of my workout program which is focusing on strength. It means that I had to lift much heavier than I have been used and probably ever. I was a bit intimidated to start so went to the local gym really early where there were few people. I think it went well although I feel I can probably go heavier but I will see if soreness appears first. I got a good warm up and cooldown there as well so an overall good start to the day and week.

Still slow at work which has allowed me to take some time to catch up. I am preparing for some madness in the coming weeks and I feel that my routines are helping navigate the stress which is welcomed. A new year is incoming and I think it can be even better than a pretty good year for the family and me!

Building strength is a sure way to really strengthen those muscles. Been a while I’ve trained with heavy weights too. I might try some when I’m fully healed from some lower back pain.

Still feeling good a day after so that is a good sign!
