Physical activity over the past two days has been limited because I’ve had a busy couple of days. I did do a reasonable number of steps yesterday when in London for work but not today though. However I did take a short walk at lunchtime and have two photos to share.
Colourful leaves now carpet the ground and the weather is rather stark compared to what I’ve become accustomed to during recent adventures!
A baby footpath has just been born, beckoning a meander at some point soon. Looking nearly complete but suspect they’ll wait until the nearby cricket club opens for business, which this path, I suspect links to. It’s looking like it might be open by Spring.
This was from yesterday, spotted the new sculpture by Liverpool Street Station in London. I didn’t pause long enough to find out what it is.
Do you know?

The change in the colour of the leaves is a sign of the change of season, in my country we only have two: summer and rainy; I hope they are already recovered from the trip. Beautiful sculpture in London! Happy weekend!

That’s the thing I’ve noticed in a lot of tropical and sub-tropical places I’ve visited is the seeming lack of seasons, of course that’s not strictly true, you do have variance but in different ways. Coming home takes as much adjusting as going somewhere different in the world. It’s much colder here than before we went away and autumn is in full swing and the angle of light has changed to a much lower angle; great for photography but with the caveat of darkness falling between 3 and 4pm.
Going to a great city tomorrow, my favourite and the one where I was born, Winchester. Taking my camera as it’s very photogenic.
