Yesterday I started the day by going on a hike to the river to see all the flood waters. The track was very wet.
The bridge was also under water.
After the walk we built up an appetite and we went out for lunch at the grounds in Alexandria. I had a delicious lamb roll
The grounds had a Mexican theme and they really go all out with the decorations.
After the lunch we had ice creams from an icecream truck at the park.

I am usually scared of hiking during the rainy season because I feel everywhere will be slippery. I honestly applaud all those that hike immediately after it rains.
Be careful on the hike. The ground is slippery.
That lamb roll looks so appetizing.
