A light drizzle painted the morning as I made my way to the bus stop, the air carrying that quiet hum of a slow start of the week. By the time I reached today’s venue, the rhythm hadn’t changed, soft rain, subdued skies, and a calm pace that followed me into the stunning Axica building, tucked beside the Brandenburg Gate. There’s something about that place, its futuristic curves wrapped in history, that always feels both surreal and serene. Today, the workday felt like a well-rehearsed waltz. Our client, an Arabic host brimming with generosity, had arranged a buffet that was as vibrant as it was delicious, flavors of spice and sweetness that still lingered as the relatively short show wrapped up without a hitch. Relaxed and simple, it was a day where nothing rushed and nothing roared. Earlier, just by the bus stop, I’d shot that photo that’s stuck with me. A quiet corner transformed: to the left, a steadfast church standing tall; to the right, a small tent tucked beneath a tree, likely someone’s fragile refuge. Between them, ghostly sculptures had appeared as if overnight, new and nameless. The contrast in the scene tells a story all on its own. On a closer look i found the informationplate next to the willow tree.
