The bitter bite of a frosty morning greeted me at minus three degrees. After four workdays, I finally had time for a longer morning walk, choosing the Mierendorffisland route, partly out of curiosity about what fresh colors might adorn the graffiti Wall of Fame. But as it often goes, the sun stole the show, painting the scene with its golden glow, far outshining any manmade masterpiece. At my usual riverside spot, I settled into my meditation and breathwork, only to be rudely disturbed by the cigarette smoke of an ignoramus and the tinny sound of his phone, a reminder that not everyone respects quiet corners. Still, the day found its rhythm, unfolding into a restful Sunday.

A lovely photo indeed! I understand how you feel about the smoke; if I run into it, I try to hold my breath until I can get past it. Unfortunately, sometimes it outlasts my ability to hold my breath! Ugh!
