It felt like a victory when I saw the negative result on this morning’s test. The virus had been vanquished, at least for now. I could already sense the shift within me, a new burst of energy, like a long-lost power finally reawakened. For the first time in days, I took a long walk through the Palace Gardens, breathing in the crisp air, feeling my body finally responding the way it used to. The walk wasn’t a struggle anymore, not like it had been the last days when every step felt like a marathon. I even made my way to Luise Island to visit the queen, who, in a sweet gesture, had dressed up just for me. It was a refreshing change of pace, a reminder that life can feel vibrant again after moments of illness. There’s something about those small victories, like the simple joy of walking farther than you have in days, that remind you of how precious health is. What was once draining now felt empowering. I wasn’t just surviving anymore; I was thriving.
