What a beautiful sunrise it was, lighting up the sky with colorful saturated hues, but the day soon spiraled downhill. Yesterday’s small bike accident seemed to have left me with nothing more than a bit of extra pain. I shortened my hike, thinking I was just being cautious, but soon the aches turned into full-on body pain, a splitting headache, and chills. The good news? The test i did was negative, so at least it isn't the dreaded corona virus. Still, it isn’t a pleasant experience, I feel downright miserable. Regardless, that stunning sunrise over Charlottenburg Gate was something to savor, a reminder that even on rough days, nature has its way of brightening things up a little.
Was für ein schöner Sonnenaufgang, der den Himmel mit satten Farben erleuchtete, aber der Tag nahm bald eine andere Wendung. Der kleine Fahrradunfall gestern schien nur ein bisschen mehr Schmerzen zu verursachen. Ich verkürzte die Wanderung, dachte, ich sei einfach vorsichtig, doch bald verwandelten sich die Schmerzen in echte Gliederschmerzen, Kopfschmerzen und Schüttelfrost. Die gute Nachricht? Der Test war negativ, also ist es nicht schonwieder der gefürchtete Corona Virus. Es war trotzdem unangenehm, und ich fühle mich richtig miserabel. Aber der Sonnenaufgang über dem Charlottenburger Tor war ein Moment, den man genießen konnte, ein Zeichen, dass selbst an schlechten Tagen die Natur uns ein wenig aufheitern kann.
