Hello everyone! Pozdrav svima!
Today I visited Istambul Airport in Turkey for the first time. It's the biggest airport in Europe and it's wonderful.
I was there for 6 hours waiting for my flight back home to Zagreb from my business trip so I had time to roam around and discover parts of the airport I wouldn't usually see.
Approaching the airport from the air reveals the importance of Istambul's seaport - countless cargo ships coming in or leaving the area.
One last look at the airplane that got me here.
Just as I entered the airport I noticed an awesome relax zone, and made a note to myself that this is the spot where I would spend the next few hours till my next flight. Of course, I never managed to find it later - that's how big this airport is...
Duty-Free shops are on every corner just inviting you to come and spend your hard-earned money. 🤑

Almost every square has some kind of artistic decoration, but this one really caught my eye.
Even the play areas for kids are very well designed and look really fun. Such a shame I didn't have my kids with me, they would love this one!

After all the walking I got hungry and decided to stop at this nice-looking burger bar. Prices are a bit spicy but the burgers are delicious.
As I didn't manage to find that relax zone I saw at the start, and all the other ones I did find were full (!!!), I stopped at the first gate I could find that was empty and camped there till my flight. 😴
