Hello everyone π»,
Happy Caturday π and a very warm welcome to my report. Its the weekend and the kitties are invading the blockchain once again, but in a good way πΉ. If you have a kitty, definitely share those picturesπ».
Anyways, I have had a nice day and it's that time of day to slow down n get ready for bed. As always thank you for being here, let's do this π¨.
I began my day with the morning walk around the neighborhood. It was a mixture of sunny π and cloudy βοΈ weather as I made my way. Then it turned drizzly too.
Later, I was back indoors handling the usual house chores including cooking and laundry.
As the day progressed, I settled down to some you tube and Twitter following up on the days trending stories.
There were also some interesting matches going on in the EPL.
Then finally, I was out for the sunset π walk this evening around 7pm. A dull cloudy evening was what I found as I made my way around the neighborhood and park π².
So that was my day, now lets look at what was trending.
Starting off in Gaza, the blood bath continued with 28 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes around the stripπΏ.
Residential buildings in al Nusierat refugee camp were targeted. A polio vaccination centre was also hit injuring four childrenπ.
In the north, apocalyptic situation continues, there's emergency level of food shortageπ.
Not far off, Lebanon trending as Israeli airstrikes kept going in the Beirut outskirts in Hazmieh.
The Lebanese govt is claiming that Israel kidnapped a citizen. However, Israel claimed he was a senior Hezbollah operativeπ.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah has fired dozens of rockets π into north Israel. Sirens went off in the port city of Haifa.
In the other war, Russia fired drones into kiev and also in kharkiv. Injuries reportedπΏ.
In the UK, Kemi Badenoch has been elected leader of the conservative party or Tories. The former business secretary is the first black woman to lead a major political party in the UK.
She will now replace former PM Rishi Sunak, who led the Tories to their worst election loss since 1832π. Congratulations π to her π. Let's hope her leadership will change the trajectory of Tories.
Across the pond in the US, election fever in the air. The final weekend of campaigning see Harris and Trump criss crossing the southern swing states.
Meanwhile, Arab American voters protested in Dearborn, Michigan. They are saying there will be no votes for genocide π. Meaning they won't vote for either Harris or Trump due to their support of Israel.
They have traditionally voted democrat, so a loss for Harris.
In Washington, a gain for Harris as the annual national women's march took place.
Tuesday is just around the corner, let's wait to see who becomes presidentπΉ.
So that's about it this Saturday, see you again tomorrow on an amazing Sunday funday.
Nothing much to add but bid you adieu β€οΈ. Hakuna Matata π»π―
