Happy fiery Tuesday π₯π and a very warm welcome to my report. It's all about treeπ² pictures as we also take a look at what's been happening around the world π.
First of all let's get into my stepping and how my day went. I woke up to a cold rainy dull morning, so I had a rather short walk, getting the groceries then was back indoors. At this rate I may need to get a treadmill for some indoor walking
Next followed the usual household chores including the cooking
The afternoon saw me checking out Twitter and you tube for the trending stories of the day.
This evening, I finished my day off with a walk around the neighborhood ending up at the park π² for a little work out on the leg press and the stationary bike. It's been drizzling on and off throughout the day not to mention the cold. That was it, and I was back indoors relaxing.
So now let's get into the trending stories.
In Gaza the blood bath continued with 50 Palestinians killed across the strip in Israeli airstrikesπΏ. Israel has been targeting residential areas in refugee camps.
In the north, Kamal Adwan hospital came under attack leaving the top floor and roof destroyedπ.
I'm the south desperate scenes as people were seen scrambling for foodπΏ. Adequate aid is not being let in and famine is now imminent in many areas.
Today marked 410 days of war.
In Lebanon, more Israeli airstrikes hit Hezbollah targets, deaths reportedπΏ.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah have kept firing drones and rockets into Israelπ.
Some relief on the way as special US envoy Amos Hochstein landed in Beirut for talks aimed at reaching a ceasefire deal to end the airstrikes.
In the other war in Europe, today marked 1,000 days since Russia invaded Ukraineπ.
Ukraine are staying strong with a pledge to never submit to Russia. Russia have kept going, last night missile strikes in the Sumy region killed 12 peopleπΏ.
Meanwhile, Ukraine has fired six US made tactical missiles into Russia targeting a military base in Bryanskπ. Biden allowed them to target areas deep in Russia.Five were intercepted but one caused damage.
Russia said that attack marked a new phase in the war, they have lowered the requirement for using nuclear armsπ.
Still in Europe, Georgia trending as opposition protesters kept going, some arrested as they engaged with police. They want the results of the parliamentary elections cancelled and new election done.
More protests, this time in London, thousands of farmers protested against inheritance tax changes they say will affect them negativelyπ.
Finally, let's finish off in Asia. A Hong Kong court has sentenced 45 pro democracy activists to jail terms of up to ten yearsπ. In the first ever mass sentencing since Beijing imposed a controversial national security law.
Another nail in the coffin of free speech and democracy in Hong KongπΏ.
