Happy hump πͺ day and a very warm welcome to my report. We are bang in the middle of the week as we look forward to getting into DecemberπΉ.
I have had just another ordinary day and am about to share it including the trending stories that caught my eye π.
Definitely thank you for stopping by and let's get into it π¨.
So I started the day with a trip to heathrow airport for an errand, the bus ride was ok but there were some delays on the train but finally I made it there. On the day I have to travel there's a fault on the Elizabeth lineπΉ. I did however make it back home well.
Later, I settled down to some you tube, x and trending news from around the world.
My final walk was the sunset π walk s around the neighbourhood ending up at the park π² then finishing off with some grocery shopping.
So now let's look at what trended globally.
The biggest story is that US brokered ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel came into effect at 0200 GMTπΉ. At least a sigh of relief for the displaced residents of affected areas.
Major highways are full of vehicles as displaced civilians return to their homes in south Lebanon.
Of course they will be disappointed with the destruction but peace will return.
However, in Gaza the bloodshed continued with more Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikesπΏ.
Hamas says they are open to a truce leading to withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza and a prisoner swap deal.
In the other war, Russian forces continued rapid advancement into the east of Ukraine. They are also gaining ground in the areas around kharkiv in the northπ.
Meanwhile, the Russian rouble has dropped to its lowest level in more than 32 months amid geopolitical risks over the escalation of the war in Ukraine and new US sanctions.
Finally in crazy weather, Seoul in South Korea trending as it received the heaviest November snowfall in 100 yearsπ.
I don't know how much snow it was but it definitely broke the record. Keep warm if you are thereπΉ.

We definitely celebrate that ceasefire in Lebanon, lots of innocent lives saved by diplomacy and talking. I do wish the same will occur for Gaza. Lives are being lost on a daily basis, it's just not right.
