Thanks for stopping by and let's go ahead and breakdown my day including the trending stories. Here we go again π¨.
So today, I had a short morning walk going for groceries around the neighborhood. Then I was indoors most of the time. It's cold outside...
I watched some youtube, X; then caught some Italian Serie A football action and also followed up on the trending stories.
My final walk was this evening, the usual sunset π walk. A nice, walk around the neighborhood, and then back home. It was dark n cold but with a bright full moon....
Now let's get into some of the trending stories.
As usual the blood bath continued in Gaza, with Israeli airstrikes across the strip killing 48 PalestiniansπΏ. The current death toll now at 45,484.
The cold π₯Ά winter weather has began causing deaths of babies whose displaced parents are living in flimsy tentsπΏ
In the north, Israeli forces arrested close to 240 Palestinians after raiding and shutting the Kamal Adwan hospitalπ. Most have been released after ill treatment and humiliation.
However, the hospital director is still being detained by Israel. Meanwhile, Hamas fired rockets π into Israel even as all this went on.
Meanwhile, a Hamas delegation arrived in Doha Qatar for talks with Qatari foreign minister on a possible ceasefire deal with Israel.
Speaking of Israel, Tel Aviv trending as protesters including families of the hostages, gathered to ask the govt to do more to ensure safe release of their loved ones who are held in Gaza.
Let's go to Syria, where delegates from Bahrain and Libya held talks with the new administration in Damascus.
Meanwhile, security is being reinforced to ensure remnants of the Assad regime do not cause any chaos. Arrests have been made of some of them.
Also trending, Putin has apologized to Azerbaijan president over plane crash without saying Russia was at fault and responsible for that crashπ. He just called it a tragic incident.
It is believed that Russian air defense mistook the plane, thinking it was a missile fired from Ukraine. 38 people were killed while upto 30 survived with injuriesπΏ.
Finally, lets end on a good note. The Calabar Carnival has kicked off in Nigeria. So if you are around Nigeria don't forget to attend Africa's biggest street partyπ₯³π, am sure it's lots of funπ.

As always thank you so much Elizabeth, I definitely appreciate your comment. I was also wondering why there wasn't a break from the airstrikes this holiday season. However 2025 is the year we will see ceasefire deals in both Gaza and Ukraine, the bombing will stop.
