Installing solar water heater

Dear friends,

Today, I was busy getting the solar heater installed at my home. The plumbers who came to it was new to solar heater installation so I had to figure our to some difficulties. First, they didn't know how to put the glass tubes after installing the steel frame and water tank. They were probing around so I looked for Youtube videos and found that we had to soak the glass tube in water first, and then put the tubes in the tank and then pull them back until it fit the frame below. We can put some soap in water to act more like a lubricant I think but it worked with plain water so we didn't add any soap in it. The following is the Youtube video I searched for them. How they installed the tube is at 12:30 minutes.

And I was helping and overseeing the workers when they were installing the frame because the glass tubes are so fragile and they had no experience in installing them.

And one more challenge came up. Because we use pressure pump for the plumping system, there was a potential issue that the water would continuously coming out from the pressure outlet valve like below.

And I was wondering how to solve the issue; maybe I would connect another pipe line bypassing the pressure pump but the distance from the solar heater and the overhead tank is far - south and north side of the house. Then, I looked for a solution in the internet and found that I could install a small tank with a float ball switch before the solar water heater so the water pressure from the pressure pump would not make the tank overflow.

And I am going to implement the system using the small tank and float ball switch as below.

I hope things would turn out well tomorrow. Today, we just finish with the installation of the solar heater and some pipe lines.

So, today, I was overseeing the installation work and helped the workers where necessary - I had to go to the market to pick up some plumbing materials, etc.
