I had a pretty good step count over the weekend. This was the first weekend of a 5 weekend long renaissance fair in my area. I had well over 10,000 steps on Saturday but, of course, forgot to post. I had slightly fewer steps on Sunday at just under 10,000.
The weather was not the best, as you can see from the photo above. It rained most of the day and it was quite heavy at times. The ground was muddy and covered with water in most places, nearly ankle deep at times. However, the renfair is rain or shine and it was a lot of fun anyway. At least the rain keeps down the crowds.
The photo above features Randall Piper as Tenacious D&D. Normally, he would be on the stage in the background, but the rain made the relative shelter of the nearby pub tent a better choice despite the standing water inside.
