As I mentioned in a previous, post, I was preparing for my first ever mountain bike race, and that at age 60, putting me in the Grand Master catogory.
The race went very well. I did the 40km, in a time of 2:05, which gave an average speed of 21 km/h.
The photo above gives the elevation and the one below shows my speed over the cause.
I ended at number 211 overall and no 12 in the Grand Master category. (Ryno Wilson on the table)
Overall, I am very happy with the result, and hope to still improve with time.
I really enjoyed the race and felt good, it was just towards the very end that, I lost some energy.
