Another day with over ten thousand steps. Today was my first day to work with lots to catch up on.
Also, I updated my Hive Witness to version 1.27.8 from 1.27.7
Minor update, but I heard that there were important bug fixes in v1.27.8
During this upgrade, I learned how to load Hive blockchain from snapshot, which takes about four hours instead of peer sync that takes like 5 or 6 days.
I love figuring out how Hive witnesses work, learning a lot about Hive blockchain inner workings.
This is why I like my day job. I love complex technical challenges. It is the reason I like getting up in the morning and starting to solve problems at work.
Right now, at work, I am working on restructuring our Visual Studio solution, removing a code generator, and replacing it with a more modern AI based engine.
At the same time, I am updating to the latest content management system that needs to be deployed to Azure and to the local developers and their Docker.
It is funny that one of the modern solutions for deployment of Hive Witness software is using Docker. So what I do every day at my work is actually similar to deployment and running Hive Witness software.
I have been monitoring my SPS validator node, and I see that it is consuming a bit more resources than was originally estimated.
I should take a look and tweak it a little bit. I also want to take a snapshot of SPS blockchain and practice restoring my SPS Validator Node from my custom snapshot.
I run a full validator node with a public API. It is located in US West Azure. I never sold any SPS, and everything my node earns is staked automatically, so no sell pressure from me ever.
