Spring is coming to the Seattle area. I am really looking forward to it and better weather.
Today, I started working on our taxes, which is one thing that I am not looking forward to :)
April 15th is about a month away, but I would like to have our taxes done before the actual deadline so that I don't have to do it at the last minute.
The crypto market is still down with ETH under two thousand and bitcoin still in low eighties. Surprisingly, SPS and DEC are doing fairly well.
I am starting to get a feeling that we are going to see more downside action in the stock market, and that will drag down Bitcoin and with it the whole crypto market.
The Splinterlands assets are doing comparably well probably because everyone is preparing for the new major card set.
People are buying DEC that is still under a peg, and SPS is at a fairly attractive price. I believe DEC may reach the peg value, and at that point, we will see SPS being burned for DEC.
Yes, I am talking about the infamous SPS flywheel. We saw it for a short time with Rebellion set, but it didn't really last. We still had too many sources of DEC inflation that have been eliminated since then. So this time, it might actually be different.
This time, the Splinterlands team is preparing a major marketing campaign to start at the same time as a new set release.
Ideally, it would have coincided with a crypto bull market, but it is not looking like it would this time. But who knows, I might be wrong again.
What do you think will happen in the crypto market this year?
As far as steps, I was able to achieve over seven thousand steps yesterday and over eleven thousand steps today.
Today, it was thanks to a short walk around our neighborhood with my wife and a weight lifting workout right after it.
I have been sticking to a very safe upper body routine due to my recent knee and back issues, but they both have been doing pretty well, and I am thinking of reintroducing some leg work excercises.
I obviously would not come back to my forty-five minute calisthenics workout that I used to do, but doing a couple of exercises and maybe more kettle bell exercises sounds good to me.
