RE: Food Diary + Actifit Card: April 12 2022

Depends what you are looking for. For weight loss, calories are absolutely the most important thing, I recommend the documentary Fathead in that regard.
For nutritional value you have to look closer, sure. "How not to die" is great read for that. I am hitting my protein and fiber goals on 6/7 days of the week. I am also often not showing if I eat something very basic under 50 calories like raw vegetables and will mostly take pictures of my "meals".

I appreciate you checking in on these but I am mostly sharing my journey here and what works for me personally. Your comments leave me a bit puzzled as I'm not quite sure about them. I am always open to learn new things but I have been informing myself about food and nutrition for years now.
I also have a rare genetic defect, it's untreatable and leads to weight gain. Normal approaches don't work for me. Bariatric surgery would not work for me. I have been overweight since childhood and been in various treament programs since I was 8. It doesn't matter how hard I worked, my bodys metabolism is just fucked up and there is no way to change that.
So yes, losing that weight is my number one goal. And this is just what works for me right now, not advice to anyone else.
