Things That Make You Go Hmmm….🤔 My Actifit Report Card: November 12 2024

Things That Make You Go Hmmm!🙄
One of the benefits of having a protected Ocean shoreline, is safety from the wind and waves of Winter storms!😇
Boulevard Park is situated in such a location.
Bellingham Bay is a deep saltwater port.
To reach “open” waters, large cargo ships must travel past the San Juan Islands, and the straight of Juan de Fuca, finally reaching the open sea!😊
That’s why Silvertop and the Mrs were so perplexed to see these new “ Tsunami evacuation route” signs being installed!😮
Even more confusing was the direction you were guided to take for this “Evacuation route”!😳
This is Silvertop’s take on these warning signs…………..😇
If you look at the third photo with Liz standing next to the evacuation route, you can see this sign points to the left down the gravel hiking trail!
This sign is actually pointing to our favorite Coffee shop, what a nice place to run to safely!☺️
“Liz, I think we DEFINITELY need to drink our Coffee’s from the Loft Lol” 🥰
Now back up to the first and second photo, these signs are guiding you to “walk not run”, INTO the cold water of the Bay!😳
“Hmmm………I think the city workers need to unbolt the big arrow on the bottom of this sign Liz Lol!”😇
I found Liz standing at the edge of the water…………………
“Silvertop, I don’t think a tsunami is coming today, but maybe we should sit here for a while and just watch anyway!”……………🥰
“That sounds nice honey, you can’t be too careful!”😍
Till tomorrow Silvertop Mike 😊

Well, we still live too close to a convergence of three tectonic plates as the geniuses at UBC's geology dept say, "the BIG ONE is overdue."

Very true I forgot about that Lol!🙄
That would definitely cause a tsunami !😳

Well I live up on a hill in Bothell which is far from the shore so I should be fine :) But good to know that our local government is hard at work trying to protect us from the Tsunami even if they are not doing a perfect job LOL

Bothell is beautiful my friend!😊
I think you will definitely be safe from a tsunami!😇
