Keith’s Tesla has four electric motors, so it is basically an electric four-wheel-drive car!😊
I decided to “Follow the Snow” up Keith’s mile long gravel driveway, and see how slippery it was!😇
Quickly I realized that it wasn’t smart to walk in the car tracks!😳
Maybe I should have worn my ice skates today Lol!🤣
I made it all the way up the Mountain and back down yesterday, till I passed my neighbor Mikes Yurt……………😬
Down I went on a section of “Black” ice!😮
They call it Black ice for a reason, it looks like a melted section of blacktop……. Until you place a foot on it!😳
The higher uphill I hiked today, the worse the road conditions……..

It is situated in a clearing, at the top of the Mountain!
Off to the right he has a ground mounted Solar Array, he is completely off grid!
He has been living this utility independent life for over thirty years!😊
Keith is retired now, he’s enjoying this weather, and this lifestyle……………….

how do you hike in such terrible condition though? do you have special foot wear just like the chains on those wheels?
I do own several pairs of chains for my boots... they are called crampons up here, but I haven't used them yet..... I just hike carefully Lol!!😇😀
when i went snowboarding last week, the ground near the lift area has compacted making it very slippery. people knew about it and took off their boards to be safe, yet many still fell down just from moving in the queue. i was one of them 🤣
