Cot had heard, that Dad had slipped on the ice a couple of days ago, and he didn’t want me to go outside!😍
“My boy, everything is starting to melt down here, the snow is only deep higher up the Mountain !”😊
His brother Cyle rolled over and went back to sleep…… he wasn’t concerned about Dad in the least!😺
It’s amazing how quickly a little rain can melt snow and ice!
With valentine’s Day yesterday, Silvertop was concerned about my truck sliding down into our creek…………..
I agonized about trying to back my truck down down a sheet of ice, trying to get to town to get Liz flowers!🙄
Today the driveway was almost completely bare!😊
We just needed to move valentine’s Day forward one day, to today Lol!😇
Well that’s exactly what Liz and Silvertop did Lol!☺️
One of our passions, and you could also say addictions is Coffee!🤗
A “date” for us is enjoying an extra hot steaming latte or mocha, at at our local Starbucks!🥰
Last week our favorite Starbucks told Liz that they were no longer allowed to brew out drinks at 200 degrees…………
Company policy……..
They were protecting Liz and Silvertop from getting burned!🤣
So today on valentine’s Day number two, we decided to spend the day together, and check out the competition!😇
The Coffee shop down at Boulevard Park, down by the ocean, named the “Woods”, just opened a new shop in town………….
This Coffee chain tends to decorate with more of a rustic style that we both prefer, just check out the log end tables!
With an affection towards wood stoves, and fireplaces, the two of up pulled up a couple of chairs next to the flames of the gas fireplace!🔥
Not to worry my Snow loving friends, Silvertop still has plenty of Snow to play and hike in………. Just uphill Lol!🤗
“Look Liz, I think we have a Snowstorm brewing up on Sumas Mountain!”
I guess we still have time to pull out our snowshoes ………
“Of course …..”after” we finish our Coffees Lol!”☺️

Rain really does have a way of clearing up snow and ice quickly, silvertop! Glad you didn't have to navigate the icy driveway for those flowers. Shifting Valentine's Day celebrations to yesterday seems=ed like it worked out perfectly!😇
Coffee dates are such a cozy and delightful tradition. I can see why you love Starbucks, even with the new temperature policy. It's always nice to explore new coffee spots, though. The Woods sounds lovely with its rustic decor and warm fireplace.
Spending the day together at this new spot must have been wonderful. I bet you had enjoyable moments on your Valentine's Day celebration. ☕❤️
