As I hiked up to the trailhead, Keith and Lynne pulled alongside me in their red Tesla…………
“We are off to Mexico Silvertop, we’ll be back in a couple of weeks!”😎
“Enjoy you guys, I’ll hike extra to make up for the two of you being gone Lol!”🤣
When I reached the trailhead, I noticed two John Deere riding lawn mowers, parked side-by-side with the keys in them………..
Silvertop is very thankful that I am mechanically inclined!
Keith has his two riding lawnmowers serviced each spring for the upcoming mowing season.
Another neighbor of ours does this as well.
The local John Deere sales and repair center sends out a pickup with a flatbed trailer to pickup these ryders and take them back to the shop for a Spring “Tuneup”!
My guess is this involves a new spark plug, new belts (maybe), and and oil and air filter change.
I was shocked when Liz told me they charge $750 each mower!😳
“Liz, I just changed our riding lawnmowers oil, the belts look fine!
That will be $750 I’ll take Bitcoin honey Lol!”😇🥰

Wow, I'm in the wrong business. What a racket doing cheap tune-ups for a fortune! I've never sent a mower in for such things, it easy to do yourself! The weather looks nice, and you put in some nice mileage yesterday!
