It was another blustery day, as I headed out the door. This was to be day two of my Spring pine tree planting!😊
I checked in with Alexa to see what today’s weather forecast was …………….
“Silvertop, you can expect drizzle, and then showers!”
That was the last thing I wanted to hear today…………..
I was wheeling out my two wheelbarrows, expecting to get drenched, when the sun came out!😎
I checked my Solar electric production, and we were cranking!😊
Maybe, just maybe, this was an overnight rain shower……. could it possibly have stopped raining?
Suddenly the day looked like it was go to be sunny!😎
I was really hoping this next row of trees would be easy digging…………
First hole……………..
I stepped firmly on my shovel, it cut through an inch of dirt and STOPPED!😳
Yikes …….. this isn’t going to be fun at all Lol!🙄
Silvertop has been digging holes since I was a little boy!😇
The only problem is I buried these coins in a glass mason jar Lol!
After several months, I went back to dig this up to check on my silver booty. I discovered the glass jar had broken, and it took me weeks to find all the coins!😮
At least I think I found all the coins Lol!😇

This Army shovel, IS the same shovel a five year old Silvertop used many, many years ago!

I remember my Dad buying this Army shovel at an Army surplus store as a gift for little Silvertop!🥰

Cool that you still have the Army shovel! That's the problem with mason jars, they tend to break with the temperature changes. Not the best for storing booty! I hope today treats you well and that those solar cells keeping cranking out the juice!
