PEPE was outside splitting firewood, and Grandfather just struck 2PM……………..
“My green friend, if we are going hiking up the Gold Mine trail, you better take a break from firewood!”😇
“Ta day it just Silbertop and PEPE, Lady frog sunbathing at “Big Pond”!🐸
“Well hopefully she will return with a nice green tan little frog!”☺️
I knew we wouldn’t get too far today, but with a high of 57 degrees, it was too nice a day to pass up hiking the trails at the Gold Mine!😊
From the Trailhead it’s straight uphill……😅
“PEPE, do you need a break, your normally deep green color is looking a bit pale!”😮
“Dis good workout Silbertop, PEPE getting BIG muscles!”🐸
“Just be careful who you show those muscular legs to my friend, you might find someone inviting you to an impromptu dinner Lol!” 😇🙄
Soon I was down to only a t-shirt……….
Of course we needed to stop at Hayden creek, and a cool dip in the fast moving water for PEPE!😅

“Dis OK Silbertop, Lady frog probably need more green Sun lotion rubbed on her deep green tan!”🐸

That was some nice weather for a nice long hike! Over 9 miles, not too bad. It looking beautiful in those pictures, spring is finally there in force!
